Florals take on a new exciting direction at this year's Heimtextil. Digitally printed photographic florals in vivid saturated colour are more prominent than ever before. A lush green, garden flower print is spotted at S.Oliver by Ibena and a vibrant peach blossom at Essenza. An illusional effect is created at Pip Studio with a photographic climbing floral wall covering superimposed with real flowers, it's tricky to tell the difference between what is real and printed.

Abstract pattern is an emerging theme, where geometric shapes are placed into abstract compositions. Essenza play with random 'cut-out' shapes generating a new 1980's aesthetic.
